DAY 2

São Paulo

A Sophisticated day – Nine blocks and several choices for following the current trends. Within the fashion meilleu, Oscar Freire Street is much more than a simple address, it is a tourist attraction that includes sophisticated restaurants, shoe shops, jewelries, modern cafes, art studios and luxurious shops that sell a variety of items. Renting a property at Oscar varies from US$ 5,000 to US$ 10,000.00, shops located on the corner are even more expensive. Different from other commercial centers in Sao Paulo, the streets are not so "crowded", typical of great bargains. It looks like a fashion show, well-dressed and good-looking men and women walk through the sidewalks acquiring garments from exclusive brands in Brazil, only available at this address. It is considered one of the eight most luxury streets according to the 'Mistery Shopping International'. A privileged place where both sophistication and elegance meet. Between one purchase and another, it's worth getting to know Santo Grão, voted in 2005 by the magazine Veja São Paulo as having the best espresso in the city.

After the shopping tour, you will be taken to Tuju, local ingredients sourced from small producers, a continual quest for culinary discovery, and an impressive balance between flavours, aromas and textures - these are the hallmarks of Ivan Ralston. This young, talented chef showcases some of the city's most interesting cooking, which is born from a highly thoughtful approach and great levels of technical skill, but also the desire for each dish to tell a different story. This is a must for any serious food-lover! The restaurant has 2 stars Michellin (just 3 restaurants in Brazil have it). Meals and drinks at your own.

We recommend your last dinner in São paulo at Skye, a bar on the top floor of your hotel. On the deck of its swimming pool, you can savor a glass of prosecco while you admire the view of the Parque do Ibirapuera. Meals and drinks at your own.

From this stage, a second cable car will be taken up to the top (395 meters) to see a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some of the beaches of Niterói.

The highlight of your day will be a helicopter flight over Rio de Janeiro, a perfect combination with the Sugar Loaf cable car visit, the sights seen from a distance are at arms' length! When the helicopter takes flight to explore Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) and on to the full crescent of Copacabana passing by the fort, as far as Ipanema with a view of Leblon and the Dois Irmãos / Two Brothers mountain as backdrop, one understands why the city is called - Cidade Maravlhosa / Marvelous City. A photographer´s dream come true! This exciting birds' eye view of the unique panorama of Rio de Janeiro is unrivalled when the helicopter leaves from the Sugar Loaf complex. Return to Sugar Loaf closing an unforgettable flight!

We recommend dinner at Lasai, a member of the select group of restaurants that is representative of Brazilian gastronomy, this establishment abides by a strict ethos of seasonality and the use of local ingredients. It works only with small producers, breeds its own chickens and has its own organic kitchen. Creative and daring, the chef Rafa Costa e Silva applies methods he learned in the United States and Europe to every dish he cooks. Visit Lasai (the word means “calm” in the Basque language) and enjoy every one of the 15 stunning dishes that make up the Festival menu. Meals and drinks at your own.
