
1 - National Marine Park of Abrolhos, Bahia
The archipelago of Abrolhos, 70 kilometers off the coast, is one of the best spots for scuba diving in the whole of Brazil with visibility of up to 25 meters and an extremely rich marine fauna. It is made up of coral reefs, volcanic islands and part of the continental shelf. It is there that the humpback whales arrive to reproduce, every year from July to November. Marine birds like Frigates, Boobies, Terns and Noddies, complete the picture.
2- Praia do Forte, Bahia

The whale watching vessel sets out from the beach of Praia do Forte, less than 15 minutes from Imbassai. The program begins with a short introductory lecture by a researcher from the Humpback Whale Project.
A biologist from the project will accompany the participants, providing information throughout the journey
Then at about 10h00 the group will board a schooner for a 25-nautical mile ride to observe these magnificent sea mammals that migrate from the frigid waters near the South Pole to mate and give birth in the warm waters of Bahia.
The Jubarte whales are usually found in small groups of four to six, so it is likely that when you see one, others will follow.
3 - Garopaba, Santa Catarina
Nature has made Garapoba a present of the most beautiful beaches on the Santa Catarina coast. First revealed by surfers, Garapobas spectacular waves now attract tourists from all over the country, filling up its charming inns and good hotels. Framing the landscape there are lakes, mountains, rivers and long unbroken stretches of seashore on all sides. There is also no lack of forests, ecological trails, waterfalls and various other ecotourism options. From July to November, the Garapoba coast is visited by Right whales (Eubalena australis). These immense mammals go there in search of warmer, shallower waters in which to suckle their offspring.
